Employees should be active partners with their managers in their development and in managing their careers. The programs offered in this series are designed to improve interpersonal effectiveness and team contribution. There are two levels of programs: Employee Effectiveness Modules and Learning in a Box.

The Employee Effectiveness Modules

 

Target Audience

Employees who work as individual contributors or on teams to achieve goals or objectives.

 

Learning in a Box are 2,3, and 4 hour programs designed to focus skill or knowledge enhancement in key areas. The topics included in this series include: Working With Emotional Intelligence, S.M.A.R.T. Goal Setting, Dealing with Difficult People, Self-Management, Giving and Receiving Feedback, and the Professional Development Workshop. A sample program Learning in a Box outlines follows.

SMART GOAL SETTING

Goals are an essential part of successfully conducting business. Goals establish direction, identify expected results, improve teamwork through a common sense of purpose, and heighten performance levels by setting targets to be achieved.

As a result of completing this workshop the participant will be able to

The Employee Effectiveness Modules are one-day programs that provide practical skill and knowledge to assist employees in achieving results and improving the quality of the organizational life. A sample program Learning in a Box outlines follows.

 

THE ROLE OF THE EMPLOYEE IN THE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT PROCESS

Each employee shares a responsibility to understand the Performance Management Process and Cycle. Additionally, employees need to know and understand their role in making the process work.

Program Objectives
As a result of completing this workshop the participant will be able to
: 

·        Learn the Components of your Performance Management Process

·        Understand the Importance of Their Role in Each Phase of the Performance Management Process

·        Improve Their Skills at Giving and Receiving Feedback

·        Partner with Managers in Setting Business Goals

·        Write Goals and Development Plans that Successfully Address Areas Identified for Development and that Improve Overall Job Performance.
